Long weekend in the Philippines, I booked my flight to HCMC to see what they have to offer. I've seen the North and Central part of Vietnam so I think the South would be a little bit different.

Arrived at the airport at 0130h. My friend Myriam was already there waiting for me. My ATM card is internationally activated so I immediately took some cash enough for me to survive in the city for a few days. I have a long day in the morning so I have to sleep to have some energy for the adventure.
My friend gave me a list of places to go and get busy while she goes to a different province to teach. The list includes Central Post Office, Saigon Opera House, and Bến Thành Market.

Ho Chi Minh is just another big city with many tourists but it also lacked the thrill of adventure. I couldn't feel anything special about the country. Since I have a few more days to spare, I have decided to go to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to discover what they have in store for me.
